We (our group) have been to Wuhan in November/December 1998 to meet our five daughters from the Tongshan Welfare Institute. They were brought to us in our hotel in Wuhan, so we never got the chance to visit Tongshan and the orphanage ourselves.
We call our daughter Hua, which is the first name she was given in China. Her birth date is 13th September, and is now with us since 29th of November 1998. To our own surprise “we” got pregnant just within 2 months after we arrived back from our journey to China, so October our second “natural born” daughter Anna was born. Within one year we got two sweet little girls, whom we both love deeply. Hua is also very fond of her little sister Anna.
We think it might be very important for our daughter, when she gets older, to know other children who came from the same orphanage in Tongshan.
