Emma was born at 6:53 a.m. CDT, at 8 pounds 1 ounce, and 20 inches long. The well-baby nursery can't handle many complicated problems, only NICU. She went initially because of the blue color you see here. Once there, her low blood-oxygen and blood-sugar levels kept her in much longer.
